Frequently Asked Questions

Can I self-host SecureExec?

Yes. SecureExec is fully self-hostable using Docker Compose. All components — the gRPC ingestion server, webapp, and Elasticsearch — run on your own infrastructure.

How many agents can I connect?

The Community plan supports up to 10 agents. The Team plan supports up to 100. Enterprise has no limit — contact us for large-scale deployments.

What event types are collected?

SecureExec agents collect process create/exit, file create/modify/delete/rename, network connections, DNS queries, registry writes, and user logon events.

How does threat detection work?

The detection engine evaluates incoming events against configurable rules. Matches generate Detection events with a severity level (low, medium, high, critical) stored alongside raw events in Elasticsearch.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. Your data and self-hosted deployment remain fully functional.

Is there an open-source version?

The core agent and ingestion server are open source. The hosted webapp and enterprise features are available under a commercial license.

Still have questions?

Our team is happy to help you design the right deployment for your environment.
